HydroLock

HydroLock is an Encapsulator Agent formulated to encapsulate hydrocarbons.

When mixed in a 3% solution with water, HydroLock molecules encapsulate hydrocarbon vapors and liquid, rendering fuel non-flammable, non-ignitable and non-explosive. The concentration of vapors quickly drops below the Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) allowing quick entry into the vessel and removal of hydrocarbon liquid and sludge.

HydroLock works on all hydrocarbons, including Crude Oil, Gasoline, Ethanol-blended Fuels, H2S (Hydrogen Sulfide) and certain Acids. It has proven to be effective on Pyrophoric Iron (Iron Sulfide) Scaling. Additionally, HydroLock quickly removes build-up on vessel walls while breaking down sludge.

The key to HydroLock’s success is its ability to save your team time. While venting a tank to remove flammable vapors could take several hours, HydroLock encapsulates hydrocarbons in a fraction of the time with no need for ventilation. Turnaround time is reduced to a fraction and vessels can be returned to service in record time.

HydroLock is fluorine free, noncorrosive and biodegradable.

Ingredients comply with CEPA 1999* and are specifically listed for use in soil washing, explosive gas de-vaporation and the removal of oils and sludges from equipment and piping
